In 2019 I (Annie) had the opportunity to participate in one of the Copenhagen Institute of Interactive Design (CIID) courses that took place in Costa Rica. The course was about Biomimicry and took place at the ‘La Selva’ Biological Research Station. There were several other courses that I was not able to attend but I recently found a podcast of one of the courses that I missed. It is called the Adaptation Spaceship and is focused on adaptation in the field of design related to climate. Although this course used Costa Rica as a case study, the podcast gathers key concepts that can be applied and understood regardless of location. Here are the three episodes:
